–          Major projects – open space campsites, open space fencing, Deluxe Inn, other problem properties on Central, elderly person beaten in mobile home park (caught the perp by following a tip), radar on south Juan Tabo

–          Q&A – officers are stopping cars for cell phone violations, homeless hiding in bushes in open space, little contact with Sheriff’s dept (county), stolen vehicles (take precautions, VIN etching, don’t leave car running, use club), speed indicators work well, drugs not observed in apartment area, hotel interdiction on Central, use discretion when responding to people asking for help, homeless woman in area periodically, young black woman has been walking through neighborhood asking for money (call if seen), graffiti by gangs (reported to gang unit)

–          Sector dev plan, approved, received money, letting contracts, public meeting May 22

–          MRA approved, challenges against strip mall at Juan Tabo & Central receiving money

–          Form Based Code (150 pages) – granting zoning codes (don’t need it), promoted by “New Urbanists”

–          Tax Increment Financing (TID) – implemented a couple places in Abq, advance allocation to developers for excess taxes

·          Singing Arrow Road Closure – study approved for traffic analysis, participate in meetings

·          Neighborhood Assoc training workshops
