properties on Central, elderly person beaten in mobile home park (caught the
perp by following a tip), radar on south Juan Tabo

officers are stopping cars for cell phone violations, homeless hiding in
bushes in open space, little contact with Sheriffs dept (county), stolen
vehicles (take precautions, VIN etching, dont leave car running, use club),
speed indicators work well, drugs not observed in apartment area, hotel
interdiction on Central, use discretion when responding to people asking for
help, homeless woman in area periodically, young black woman has been walking
through neighborhood asking for money (call if seen), graffiti by gangs
(reported to gang unit)
