Brasher – Water authority: important to resolve water quality issues. Selection of representatives not
uniform. Form Based Code document
(avail on city website, link on SANA website).
Several concerns with the proposed regulations (voluntary) and high
density housing. Property taxes should
reflect current value (even if values decrease). County budget discussions – cuts could come from the proposed
Form Based Code.
APD
report: Sgt Rich Guzman. Disturbance
calls decreased over last couple months.
Domestic violence increased.
Armed robberies up (drug related).
Auto thefts down (sting operations).
Construction equip thefts prevalent (again drug related). Call in suspicious behavior. Arrest of driver with meth (was using a cell
phone). Numbers of police on the street
has always been short handed. Bid in
Mar-Apr (may be new officers). Can
“field brief” in local areas as requested.

– APD was notified of Jan meeting (flyer dropped off).

Efforts
still continue to close Singing Arrow through the trailer park. Will be addressed at general meeting (add to
SANA website).
Rental
Property – A lot of properties getting fixed up. Eyesore at Dorado & Singing Arrow.
Large
item p/u – very clean. Call Rose if see
something.
Crime
prevention – nothing new. Be aware of
surroundings. “No loitering” signs at
Smith’s.
Graffiti
– Still happening in various locations.
City very prompt when graffiti called in.
Welcoming
committee – nothing new.
Development
committee – not following issues, so remove from agenda.
Political
issues – Candelaria visited Santa Fe three times. Money for schools, senior centers, and medicaid. Call legislators if cannot visit.
Apartment
Watch – need to contact volunteers.
Newsletter
– Feb; soliciting articles; advertising?; website info

Gateway Coalition – Working on MRA boundaries.
Will be notified regarding sector plan meetings. Harris wants to close Singing Arrow through
trailer park. Significant impact to
bus.
Firehouse
meeting – location and need under discussion.
Sharon
volunteered to help with the nominating committee.
Marissa
new site supervisor. Wants to upgrade
computers. Need game software. What happened to $50K appropriated for
community center.
